Our Artist Of The Week is @biggigantic ! Festival season is in full swing, and Big Gigantic is channeling that same euphoric energy with their latest album, ‘FLUORESCENCE.’ Known for their forward-thinking blend of saxophone, drums, hip-hop and bass music, the Colorado-based duo has carved out a unique niche in dance music. This latest release embodies that same innovative production style with a fresh new take in the form of an immersive listening experience – much like that of the vibrant music festival culture we all know and love. ‘FLUORESCENCE’ is best defined by its genre-defying track list and dynamic collaborations with artists across the indie-electronic spectrum. This includes tracks like ‘Journey’ with Ganja White Night and DENM, ‘Hyperreal’ with Blanke & ProbCause, ‘Woohaa’ with Little Stranger and HEYZ, and ‘Flourescence’ featuring Lady Blackbird, among many others that have shaped the lively and celebratory spirit of the album. Following the release of ‘FLUORESCENCE,’ Big Gigantic will be kicking off their tour next month with a string of festival appearances at the End of Times Funky Fall Festival in Arkansas, Metamorphosis, KN¿WHERE Music Festival, and Cascade Equinox Festival. This stint also includes their 13th annual Rowdytown at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on September 27th, 2025. The event, which will feature two different sets and a special performance from Maddy O’Neal, promises next-level production and a uniquely curated lineup. The celebrations don’t stop there, however. Big Gigantic will be making their rounds on the U.S. tour circuit until the end of November. This includes stops at Skyway Theatre in Minnesota, Great Hall in Brooklyn, The Salt Shed in Chicago, among many others. ✍️- @evkm.21
