|| Arvo Pärt 90 || ❤ Fotomuljeid Dresdenis Lipsiusbau kunstihoones avatud näituselt „Spiegel im Spiegel. Eesti ja Saksa kunsti kohtumised Lucas Cranachist Arvo Pärdi ja Gerhard Richterini“. Näituse pealkiri „Spiegel im Spiegel“ – „Peegel peeglis“ – on laenatud sel aastal 90. sünnipäeva tähistava Arvo Pärdi teoselt. Tegemist on läbi aegade suurima Eesti kunsti väljapanekuga Saksamaal, kus on eksponeeritud ligikaudu 150 teost. Näitusel eksponeeritud Arvo Pärdi teoste käsikirjad ja muusikapäevikud annavad aimu helilooja vägagi visuaalsest loomeprotsessist. Näitus on Dresdeni avatud 8. maist 31. augustini ning alates 24. oktoobrist Kumu suures saalis. The title of the exhibition "Spiegel im Spiegel" is borrowed from a piece by Arvo Pärt, who celebrates his 90th birthday this year. This is the largest exhibition of Estonian art in Germany to date, with around 150 works on display. The manuscripts and music diaries of Arvo Pärt on display give an insight into the composer's highly visual creative process. The exhibition is open in Dresden from 8 May to 31 August and in the Kumu Great Hall from 24 October. 🌠 „Spiegel im Spiegel. Estnische und deutsche Kunst von Lucas Cranach bis Arvo Pärt und Gerhard Richter“ Ab heute könnt Ihr in der Kunsthalle im Lipsiusbau die gemeinsame wechselvolle Geschichte Estlands und Deutschlands von der Hansezeit über Aufklärung und Romantik bis in die Gegenwart erleben. Im Zentrum steht der künstlerische Dialog zwischen dem Komponisten Arvo Pärt, der 2025 seinen 90. Geburtstag feiert, und dem Maler Gerhard Richter. Der Titel „Spiegel im Spiegel“ verweist auf Pärts gleichnamige Komposition, deren Prinzip die Dramaturgie der Ausstellung folgt: Pärts Musik und Richters Malerei öffnen Einblicke in die Verbundenheit beider Länder, zeigen den kulturellen Austausch, Brüche und Gemeinsamkeiten zwischen ihnen. Neben historischen Perspektiven geht es u.a. auch um Nationalität, Religion, Umwelt und Feminismus. Die Exponate zeigen, wie stark estnische und deutsche Künstlerinnen und Künstler einander über die Zeit inspiriert und beeinflusst haben. Seid herzlich willkommen! 🌠 ‘Spiegel im Spiegel. Estonian and German art from Lucas Cranach to Arvo Pärt and Gerhard Richter’ From today, you can experience the shared eventful history of Estonia and Germany in the Kunsthalle im Lipsiusbau, from the Hanseatic period through the Enlightenment and Romanticism to the present day. The show focuses on the artistic dialogue between the composer Arvo Pärt, who celebrates his 90th birthday in 2025, and the painter Gerhard Richter. The title ‘’Spiegel im Spiegel‘’ refers to Pärt's composition of the same name, whose dramaturgy the exhibition follows: Pärt's music and Richter's painting open up insights into the ties between the two countries, showing the cultural exchange, ruptures and similarities between them. In addition to historical perspectives, the exhibition also looks at nationality, religion, the environment and feminism. The exhibits show how strongly Estonian and German artists have inspired and influenced each other over time. ⭐ Juba sel pühapäeval, 11. mail kell 15 annab Arvo Pärdi Keskuses loengu tänapäeva üks väljapaistvamaid heliloojaid James MacMillan. 🔹 Oma loengus „Muusika ja pühadus antiigis ja tänapäeval“ uurib James MacMillan muusikalisi, tehnilisi, teoloogilisi ja kultuurilisi süvaseoseid, mis muusikat ja pühadust ühendavad, ning püüab leida vastust küsimusele, miks tänapäeval, „uskmatuse ajastul“, ikka veel sakraalmuusikat luuakse. 🔹 Loeng on inglise keeles sünkroontõlkega eesti keelde! ⭐ Piletid saadaval Fientas! — ⭐ On Sunday 11 May at 3 pm, one of today’s most prominent composers, James MacMillan, will give a lecture at the Arvo Pärt Centre. 🔹 In the lecture James MacMillan will explore the deep roots, musical, technical, theological and cultural, of why there is an umbilical link between music and the sacred. ✨Tema Kuninglik Kõrgus Hannoveri printsess Caroline andis pühapäeval, 4. mail Arvo Pärdi Keskuses helilooja Arvo Pärdile üle Monaco Vürstiriigi kultuuriteenete ordeni. Monaco vürst Albert II nimetas Arvo Pärdi Monaco kultuuriteenete ordeni komandörijärgu kavaleriks eelmise aasta novembris. Ordeni üleandmine toimus väiksemas ringis, keskuse sõbrana viibis kohal Eesti president Alar Karis abikaasaga, üleandmisel osalesid ka Monaco Vürst Pierre’i Fondi esindajad, helilooja pereliikmed, Monaco Vürst Pierre’i Fondi muusikapreemia „Noore muusiku valik” laureaadid, heliloojad Erkki-Sven Tüür ja Ülo Krigul, Arvo Pärdi lähedased interpreedid, dirigendid Tõnu Kaljuste ja Jaan-Eik Tulve, helilooja Helena Tulve ja Arvo Pärdi Keskuse töötajad. Prince Albert II of Monaco appointed Arvo Pärt Commander of the Order of Cultural Merit of Monaco last November. The award ceremony was held in a small circle, with the President of Estonia, Alar Karis, and his wife present as friends of the Centre. The event was also attended by representatives of the Prince Pierre Foundation of Monaco, members of the composer’s family, the winners of the Prince Pierre Foundation’s Young Audience Prize, composers Erkki-Sven Tüür and Ülo Krigul, renowned interpreters of Arvo Pärt’s music, conductors Tõnu Kaljuste and Jaan-Eik Tulve, composer Helena Tulve and staff of the Arvo Pärt Centre. ✨ Pühapäeval, 4. mail tuleb ansambli Vox Clamantis esituses maailma esiettekandele Arvo Pärdi teos „Prayer to the Holy Trinity“. Tallinnas Niguliste kirikus ettekandele tulev teos on loodud 1976. aastal, kuid oli algselt mõeldud isiklikuks muusikaliseks tervituseks. Arvo Pärdi Keskuse arhiivitöö tulemusel jõuab see nüüd publiku ette. 🎶 Arvo Pärdi „Prayer to the Holy Trinity“ on loodud 1976. aasta detsembris ja on üks tema varasemaid katseid luua muusikat religioossele tekstile. Teose keskmes on Püha Kolmainu palve, mis kõlab 12 korda. Meloodia on tuletatud sõnarõhkudest ja intonatsioonist – see kompositsiooniline lähenemine saab edaspidi lahutamatuks osaks Pärdi muusikalisest mõtlemisest. 🎶 Kontserdi salvestab @klassikaraadio ning see on eetris kolmapäeval,14. mail kell 19.
